Hello everyone, we’re now onto week five of Summer, Sweets & Supper and this week is filled with flavourful recipes for you to enjoy! This week I have included a few ingredients that you may not have cooked with before, such as Seitan and Tonka beans, but I am sure you will love them as much as I do once you’ve tasted them. You should be able to find Seitan in your local health or world food shop, I buy mine in a jar marinaded in soy which is super yummy. As for Tonka Beans, I purchase mine on Amazon as they can be quite a difficult thing to get hold of in physical stores so just remember to order in time for when you want to make the dessert this week. Another item you will need is a butane blow torch for the Crème brûlée. A little chef’s torch will work perfectly, no need for a big expensive model.
