Week 2 of Summer, Sweets & Supper is here! This week’s recipes are super flavourful and delicious and I know you’re going to have so much fun trying them out. Breakfast this week involves some baking which I find to be really therapeutic in the mornings. Lunch is something a bit different and perhaps a combination you haven’t tried before, but trust me it’s amazing. And for dessert, this week’s recipe demands a bit more of your time to perfect each layer, however the results will be well worth it.

As for specialist equipment you may find it useful to have a blender and a decent non stick prying pan, and a nice looking dessert bowl to build your Trifle in would be great. I used a small glass dessert bowl I got cheaply online.

For the Main, try to secure some good quality, fresh Sea Bass fillets, most large supermarkets or fish counters should stock this. As for the Trifle you will need a packet of leaf Gelatin and a medium bottle of Prosecco, don’t worry about it being too fancy, just something you would happily drink will work great.

And there you have it, all set for a second week of Summer cooking. I hope you enjoy!
